Casa Loma, Toronto's wonderful castle estate, is the legacy of Sir Henry Pellatt, a prominent Canadian financier, industrialist and military officer of the early 20th century. He built CasaLoma between 1911 and 1914 capturing the most pleasing elements of the Norman, Gothic and Romanesque styles. The finest of furnishings, fabrics and artwork were purchased throughout America and Europe to complete his home: a castle that fulfilled all of his childhood dreams. Sir Henry and his wife Lady Mary were renowned for their entertaining while living at Casa Loma. This grand tradition continues when you choose Casa Loma for your next special event. Experience the unique ambiance of The Great Hall with its 70-foot oak beamed ceiling and towering bay window, the rich wood paneling and hand crafted plaster ceiling of The Library, and the splendid marble and lush greenery of The Conservatory. We accommodate large groups of 125 to 1,200 and offer a choice of catering options to suit all tastes and budgets. Quality cuisine and excellent service are the hallmarks of our in-house caterer.
