Housed in a building that dates back to 1904, a long, airy room, conceived by Toronto's Terrelonge Design, is a vision of good taste. Enormous factory-sash windows lend opulence and grandeur, amplified by polished maple wood floors and 14-ft. ceilings gussied up with sandblasted wood. Asymmetrically hung photography, communal leather placemats and stainless steel counters make this a lesson in millennial modernism.
