Jessica spent the early part of her day getting ready with her girls. She was very thankful for their support leading up to her wedding and for standing beside her on her special day. She gifted each bridesmaid with a black Michael Kors handbag and a humorous note card! The girls, all dressed in purple ‘Love by Enzoani’ cocktail dresses, looked beautiful with their new bags in hand.
As for Jessica’s gorgeous bridal look, she wore an incredible strapless Enzoani Dillon gown with intricate white rosette lace and a dainty light grey belt. She looked as though she had just stepped out of the pages of a bridal magazine with her perfect ringlet curls and lovely bouquet (which touchingly hosted her late father’s wedding band).
The ceremony was set in the garden at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort where guests enjoyed the scenery before the processional began. The September day was warm – one of the most beautiful days we’ve seen. Everyone shared a laugh as the adorable ring bearer ran down the aisle at top speed! Jessica was then escorted down the aisle by her beautiful mother, who had made this dream wedding possible. Jessica + Shawn exchanged vows under the garden gazebo before gathering for family photos in the garden.
The couple adores the outdoors as it is, so spending time with their loved ones amongst the trees was as natural to them as is their love for each other - and it showed in every photo. Once again, they looked as though they were plucked from a magazine as they shared sweet glances and kisses with sunlight beaming through the branches of lakeside foliage. Their happiness was contagious and we got great shots of everyone in the wedding party!
Shortly after our photo spree, everyone gathered at the Inn for celebration, dinner and dancing. Their delicious cake by Bobette and Belle was a great hit and gave just the sugar rush that everyone needed to continue partying into the night! The newlyweds had such a wonderful time with their friends and family as they received toast after toast to their happy future together.
