Sweet as Wine | Inn on the Twenty, Jordan Ontario

We were recently privy to a charming vineyard church wedding! Stephanie + David, a very sweet couple, were wed at St. Helen’s Church in Vineland. This was David’s family church, and the old stone building was nestled amongst the vineyards. It was a perfect day, even with the sprinkling of rain.

Stephanie and her bridesmaids made an extravaganza out of their preparations and stayed overnight at the Vintage House at Inn on the Twenty, a beautiful old century home which overlooks delightful gardens and the village of Jordan.

While they didn’t make an evening out of it, the groom and his groomsmen also prepared in the village of Jordan at a cozy inn called the Jordan House. The village of Jordan, located in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula, is the perfect place for a wedding with its quaint romantic charm!

Stephanie was gorgeous in her Lea-Ann Belter gown and Prada heels. The bridesmaids, including her sister, Tamara (who was her maid of honour), were stunning in full-length navy blue dresses from Vera Wang’s “White Collection”. They each carried gorgeous bouquets made by Vermeers along with clear umbrellas to shield them from the raindrops. The umbrellas made their look all the more charming as they laughed, carefree and beautiful, in the rain!

By the time the ceremony began, the rain was absolutely pouring! Luckily, it is said that rain on a wedding day brings good fortune and fertility. They said their vows inside the warm church and had a sweet, authentic, intimate ceremony. The highlight was the exchange of rings, which was extra special because Stephanie + David had each others names engraved on the inside of their bands. Luckily, the rain also stopped long enough for some fun shots outside and around the car.

The reception was an elegant dinner in the Windows Room which overlooked the Twenty Valley. The dinner was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the newlyweds.

Congratulations, Stephanie + David!
