Grandeur at the Liberty Grand | Toronto Wedding Photography

TBT_142

It’s always a privilege to step back in time and bear witness to the historical grandeur that our city has to offer. And this grandeur was certainly on display at the Liberty Grand, for the heart-warming nuptials of this lovely couple.

For those of you who are unaware of its history, the Liberty Grand was built in the mid-20s’, and it was used for many decades as the Ontario Government building, before being transformed into one of the city’s most exquisite ballrooms in the year 2000. While photographing the wedding, I was truly in awe of just how incredible the location really was. Every room was just so photogenic – from the hauntingly beautiful, curtain-lined Artifacts Room, where the couple’s ceremony took place, to the spectacular and very regal Governor’s Room, where the couple ate, laughed, and danced the night away, amongst a very jovial and well-dressed group of guests!

Despite the breathtaking nature of the Liberty Grand, the apple of my eye was, of course, the incredible bride and groom.
