As a photographer, I am always particularly thrilled when my clients want to combine a shoot with a little adventure! So I was happy when this wonderful couple decided to celebrate their engagement by venturing deep into the forest.
The location they chose was the glorious Bruce Trail. For those who don’t know it, this trail is Canada’s oldest and longest marked footpath, and the gateway to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Given the location, the photos were always going to be wonderful, something that I knew the bride-to-be, a photographer from Humber College, would be very particular about! We had an absolutely fantastic day at the trail, capturing many shots of the couple on their colourful vintage-style bikes, which provided the perfect contrast to the radiant greens of the forest. As cycling is a passion for both the bride and groom-to-be, it was great to be able to combine this passion with such an incredible outdoor setting.
