Nina + Paul

I have to be honest with you here. Because if not here – than where? But every once in a while, our job just feels too dang easy. Like taking candy from a baby.

Don’t get me wrong – we work hard to create the quality images that you see on this blog. But sometimes it seems the couple we’re photographing has come straight from the pages of a JCrew magazine. They’re beautiful. They’re stylish. And they are completely and utterly in love, which is the ultimate ingredient for a successful engagement session.

When we met up with Nina and Paul in the Distillery district to photograph their engagement session – it was one of those days. Paul looked great in a simple, crisp white shirt, jeans, skinny black tie and sunglasses; and Nina was adorable in her slim black pants and lavender frill top.

Their connection was almost magnetic and we honestly couldn’t stop photographing these two. When Nina zigged – Paul zigged. When he laughed – she beamed with happiness. When he reached out for her, her hand was already there, waiting to be held.

The Distillery district is a great place for capturing strong contrasts in an engagement session. With its many earthy toned structures and rough textures, it provided a wonderful cityscape background against the softness of Nina’s feminine grace and Paul’s adoring eyes.

We can’t wait to photograph these two next August when they say I do. Nina & Paul – thank you for making our job so easy! And Congrats!

UPDATE | Here is Nina and Paul wedding day.
